OEDO-KOH
Peony Tree embodies a truly Japanese essence, offering a floral and woody aroma that maintains a delicate balance without being excessively sweet or ostentatious.
The geisha's love elixir, the allure of the floating world. The sweet aroma of the peony carries an enchantment that knows no bounds. During the Edo period, the captivating peony enjoyed immense popularity. Its mesmerising appearance conjures images of a graceful geisha, and as you gaze upon a peony, you can almost hear the music and witness the dances of the geishas. It is said that time spent in tea houses was measured by the burning sticks of incense. The scent of the peony, known as the "queen of the flowers," evokes the beauty of this ephemeral world.
During the Edo period, tin was a favoured metal by the upper class. Each incense box includes an incense holder that resembles the stone pavements of Edo.
